Healthy and that's how our prehistoric ancestors

We like to think our modern understanding of health and nutrition healthier than previous generations, but this is not always the case. While it is true that modern medicine has improved the lives of people, who are also healthier in other ways, as shown in the current obesity epidemic. There are many reasons for this trend, poor health, but most experts agree that modern health problems are mainly due to two main factors: 1) poor performance, and 2), poor eating habits.

The first question is difficult to solve. Just go out and move. Unfortunately this is not always as easy as it sounds, but at least we know the solution directly in front. About our eating habits, things are a bit complicated.

What is natural for humans to eat?
Many people want to eat better but do not know where to start. While most of the food available in stores, there is very little nutritional value, which is full of health, fat, sugar and preservatives. Most of the production that we have produced in the agricultural engineering industry, including chemicals and unhealthy practices that reduce the nutritional content of food. "

While the environmental movement is trying to solve this problem by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, many people feel they go far enough to address how and what to eat. To address this imbalance rash new food movement is bringing people back to their roots and promote nutritional eating style is best for the human animal.

Sometimes called Paleolithic diet, but also a variety known as hunter-gatherers, diet and movement of the stone caves food diet that encourages people to avoid processed foods altogether and stick to the food simple, fresh, similar to what our ancestors a hunter-gatherer life.

The purpose of this movement is simple: human beings evolved to eat certain foods, and are healthier when they eat those things. You could say that the food processing, agriculture against our nature, and very unhealthy, so simple, unprocessed foods is better for all body systems.

Criticism of the Movement
Of course, as with every movement of food, people are the Paleolithic diet unnecessarily extreme. For example, some proponents of the Paleolithic diet believe that we should not eat dairy products and grains, as in the days of our ancestors seemed to eat these things. But the truth is that dairy products and cereals have been part of our diet for thousands of years, and much more natural than, say, put the Twinkie.

Another argument against the movement of the Paleolithic diet is that humans evolved to eat certain foods, but to be able to eat what is available. In other words, they are omnivores who do not specialize foods (eg, s, cows, which eat almost nothing but grass), but the consequences can be. As hunter-gatherers, ate, landscape and nature gives us, and our digestive system has been developed especially to be able to handle different types of food.

That said, the basic principles of movement unwavering Paleolithic nutrition. Most processed foods are much less healthy than their non-treatment alternatives and simple food directly from nature is much easier to digest. If you need proof, try a couple of weeks. Already after a short time on this diet, you can once again feel clearer, lighter and more energy.
